Surface Area

1. Surface Area problems ask for surface area or square feet.

2. The cone and pyramid below have a unique

measurement that is used in calculating the surface area : Slant Height =  l   .   

 It also has a regular height: = h.   h is straight  up and down the l  is slanted.

3. Remember

Write the formula on a piece of paper.

Put the numbers underneath.

Calculate.
